Is At Your Services really free?
The software is free to use. If you'd like us to host and manage it for you, that's available at pass-through infrastructure cost — and setup and onboarding for small nonprofits are provided free of charge. Just ask.
Do volunteers need to download an app?
No. It runs in any phone or computer web browser. Volunteers sign up and cancel their own spots from a link — nothing to install.
Will my volunteers see ads?
Never. There is no third-party advertising anywhere in the app. The page is your organization's, not a billboard for someone else's.
Can one person sign up their whole family or group?
Yes. A single account can cover a family or a group, so a parent can sign up their kids or a group leader their whole crew.
Does it send confirmations and reminders?
Optionally, yes — an email confirmation when a volunteer signs up or cancels, and a reminder before each shift, each with an add-to-calendar (.ics) file. Volunteers choose per sign-up or set a default (send automatically, ask each time, or off) in their profile.
Can we use our own name and branding?
Yes. Your organization's name, colors, and logo — and even the terminology (the "Job" label) is configurable to fit your world.
Is our data private and secure?
Yes. Role-based access means volunteers see only their own sign-ups, and the app uses hashed passwords, expiring sessions, rate limiting, and server-side access control over HTTPS. No ads, and no selling of your data.
